Ronald Reagan was the 40th President of the United States. He took office January 1981 to January 1989. Before his presidency he served as a Captain in the U.S. Army Air Forces from 1937 to 1945.

During his two terms as president, he implemented the War on Drugs, reduced inflation, ended the Cold War, coined the term "Reagonomics", and chanted the words "Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall".
